DRAMA AND MUSICAL THEATRE MAJOR

A monologue of approximately 3 minutes. The candidate should have a knowledge of the playwright and the monologue in context.

Perform two songs of your own choice in contrasting styles. One song must display movement.

Songs must be performed either using a backing track, with a pianist or unaccompanied. All backing tracks need to be provided on a USB.

A short combination will be taught to you in order to assess your dance level.

All candidates must be dressed appropriately in clothing that allows them to move freely.

A hand written opinion essay on a subject related to the Major you are applying for.
DANCE MAJOR

You will be required to perform two dances of contrasting styles at your highest level of training.

All audition candidates must be dressed appropriately in clothing that is relevant to the dance genre.

All candidates will be required to perform a song of his/her own choice, which may be unaccompanied, with a backing track or pianist. All backing tracks need to be provided on a USB.
