Our junior courses offer opportunities to grow in all aspects of the performing arts, including singing, dancing and acting. Classes are held on Saturdays and on various days throughout the week, depending on the age and level of a student.
We are affiliated with a top talent representation agency for those wishing to pursue employment opportunities and gain experience within the professional industry, whilst training at WTS.

This stream requires a greater level of commitment, including additional weekday classes alongside Saturday training, and culminates in internationally recognised ISTD accreditation.

We invite all students to experience the full Saturday timetable, regardless of their chosen pathway. Spending the day immersed in a variety of disciplines offers a broad foundation across genres, introduces students to style they may not yet have considered and deepens their understanding of the performing arts as a whole.
It’s often within this space of exploration that new passions are discovered – from drama to tap, or from ballet to street dance.
THE SATURDAY PROGRAMME
The Saturday Junior School programme is full day of classes, which may include:

EXAM YEARS & SHOW YEARS
The Junior School alternates annually between an Examination Year and a Show Year, culminating in a full Junior School musical production. During non-show years, learners participate in an end-of-year showcase, ensuring they still have a performance goal to work towards while giving parents the opportunity to their progress.
THIS STRUCTURE ENSURES THAT:
APPLICATIONS & FEES
Entry into the WTS Junior School is done through an individual assessment. The assessment determines at which level the learner enters the programme and considers which stream is most appropriate. The learner will then be presented with a personalised package suitable to their specific need and ability.
Fees are determined in relation to the stream and level at which the learner begins.
Fees range from R 3 825 to R 7 050 per term for 2026.

- There is a once off assessment fee of R250 payable online.
